FROM BUDDING TO PRO PHOTOGRAPHER Workshop 7 Editing & Post Production ONCE you've taken your photos, you'll want to make them look amazing. With Helen Tinner's editing workshops, she'll guide you through the basic elements of two of the most popular editing programmes, Picasa (a free download from Google) and Lightroom. WHY IS A 1-2-1 WORKSHOP WITH HELEN TINNER DIFFERENT? 1) Please email through one image, which we'll use to work on during the workshop 2) Once connected onto Zoom Helen will share her screen, to allow you to see the editing effects she's applying to these images in real time. 3) Any questions and queries can be solved immediately. No need to wait for a reply. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN It's easy to get confused with over editing, so Helen will simplify the tools and show you how to achieve fantastic results in no time. As Picasa and Lightroom have very similar elements (Lightroom having more editing capabilities) we'll work through the most important fixes. These being: - * Learning the difference between importing RAW & JPEG images * Exporting your images (for printing or for email) * Colour temperature * Exposure, contrast, highlights, shadows, whites, blacks * Sharpening, softening * Cropping * Straightening * Vignettes PLUS - with 30 years of experience in the trade, she'll give you inside tips, like how to get detail out from shadows, knowing which photos look best in black and white rather than colour and understanding the various cropping dimensions.
