Good to know
Questions before the shutter.
Please find answers to some of the most common questions. If yours is not here, Helen is always happy to talk it through.
01Where does the photo shoot take place?
A photo shoot can take place virtually, in Helen’s mobile studio or on location at a destination chosen with you.
02What does a location shoot mean?
The photographs are taken outside or in a real environment of your choice, so the setting becomes part of the story.
03What should I wear?
Consider your personal brand and how you want to be seen. Choose clothes that fit well, avoid glare from white in strong light and bring a second look where time allows.
04What is a mobile studio?
Helen and her team can bring professional lights, backgrounds and equipment to your home, office or venue. The setup is flexible enough to work around surprisingly small spaces.
05What is a digital image?
A photograph supplied as a file. High-resolution versions suit print and enlargements; smaller files are easier to use online and across social media.
06What does onsite printing mean?
Photographs can be viewed, selected and printed during an event, allowing guests to take home a finished memento.
07Is a make-up artist required?
No, but Helen can help arrange a make-up artist when you would like one present.
08When can I view my photos?
Where arranged, images can be viewed at the shoot. Otherwise Helen will agree a convenient viewing date and explain the expected turnaround.
